It’s that time of year again when we have emerged from our summer smother and are starting to look forward to the (Jewish) New Year, Autumnal Equinox (Sept 22) and Harvest Moon (Sept 29).
Arizona restaurants awaken and ruffle their proverbial feathers visioning a profitable season ahead.
Some restaurants have banded together under the Arizona Restaurant Week banner. During this special week, participating restaurants will offer $20, $30, or $40 pre-fixe specials in Phoenix, Tucson, and other parts of Arizona.
This place caught my eye — Betty’s Nosh in Glendale, AZ – it has a mushroom bar with 20 kinds of stuffed mushrooms and 30 wines by the glass. A mushroom-lover’s haven.
Every restaurant links to their Restaurant Week specials. Nothing like food foreplay to get you excited. If you have been thinking about trying a new restaurant, this could be the encouragement you need.
Tucson has 28 participating restaurants. At Epazote Kitchen & Cocktails (El Conquistador Hilton’s newest restaurant), for $30 you get a salad or quesadilla, steak or trout or enchillada, and dessert, and beverage. Ganga! I just ate here last week and it was a wonderful experience/hope to write about soon.
At Zinburger, the deal is $30/couple!
Here’s the list or participating restaurants.
If you go, come back and let Circle of Food know how it was. Thanks for reading. Please share…
