Get out the Ouzo (again) – it’s time for another fun-filled evening Greek style on Saturday November 7. This fabulous evening includes cocktails, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and carving stations accompanied by a hilarious performance by acclaimed comedian Basile. After the show guests can join the comedian for an after party with Greek music and dancing. Tickets are $65- $75/person or $500 for a table of eight. Ticket sales benefit Saint Demetrious Church in the Hellenic Center, 1145 E. Ft. Lowell Road. Call the church office at 888-0505 for tickets and details.
Master gardeners open house - November 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Albert Hall from Acacia and Acacia Marketplace will be on hand to demonstrate garden goodies preparation as well as other prominent food & wine experts. Tours of the gardens are included; the event is free.
Greyhounds & Friends Fall Festival - Come out and meet the greyhounds and support the greyhounds. Last year Arizona Greyhound Rescue spent $63,000 on vet bills readying retired racing greyhounds for adoption. There will be fun for adults, kids, and dogs of all breeds plus Moondogs & Robeks smoothies and a dog biscuit bakeoff for a few discriminating lucky dogs.
All Souls Procession and Parade - I think this is a Tucson original event. Check out the website.
Plus for your UA Wildcat fans, there’s homecoming…and more…
