I went to have my annual physical yesterday.  I am 51 and menopause has kicked in.  I proudly told my doctor that I had lost weight since our last visit.  She was impressed and commented that it was hard for women to lose weight in menopause -- most women get chunky midsections.  I told her it was simply a matter of reducing calories and increasing exercise.  

Simple, yes.  Easy, no.  It does take willpower.  But it is the healthiest way.</description>
