I recently participated in an event where I had the pleasure of cooking behind the scenes at Kingfisher Restaurant in Tucson.

The owner and chef Jim Murphey gave us each a R.H. Forschner Victorinox knife to use. Then we were able to take our knife home.

I cannot tell you how that knife as changed my life.

I no longer disdain the task of chopping, dicing, and slicing.

Now I feel like I am conducting an orchestra instead of manual drudgery.

It’s amazing how a good knife can alter your cooking habits for the better.

Start chopping!

There is nothing like a great knife to cook with. I love coming home everynight and cooking a great healthy (veggie filled) recipe from my favorite cookbook, “Cooking with All Things Trader Joe’s,” by Deana Gunn and Wona Miniati, using my favorite knife.
