Ditto. I know I shouldn't say this, but....I eat raw eggs all the time. I taste my homemade dressing (made with raw eggs), I eat raw cookie dough, cake batter and more. Am I just lucky that I haven't gotten sick? Has anyone out there gotten salmonella poisening?

Torie,
Thanks!
Those look delicious.
My problem is that I prefer cookie dough more than the cookie.
It must run in my family because I found out many years ago that my brother prefered cookie dough over the cookie.
I wonder if we have the same cookie dough gene?

I was visiting him...I think in Florida and he took me to Ben & Jerry's. This is before B&J was the household word it is now.

He made me try the cookie dough ice cream and I loved it. Somehow I think it was controversial because of the raw egg in the ingredient.

Anyway that's when I found out we both loved cookie dough more than the cookie.

A few years ago I bought some prepared cookie dough and ate part of it and that may have cured me for a long time to come -- I hope.
