You know sweet potatoes are not just for Thanksgiving and sweet potatoes don’t need to be doused with brown sugar and marshmallows to be edible.

As a matter of fact, I cannot eat sweet potatoes when they are prepared like that. I frequently asked the cook to just microwave me a sweet potato.

Sweet potatoes are rich in vitamin A, fiber, calcium, vitamin C, iron, and thiamine. While sweet potatoes have a moist mouth feel, yams have a drier mouth feel.
