Fresh Mozzarella Cheese on Pizza

Nothing says summer like fresh mozzarella! But I have to admit that it never occurred to me to put it on pizza until recently when we ate at a wonderful Italian restaurant along “The Strip” in downtown Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
There is no substitute for the taste of freshness and the fresh mozzarella took our pizza to a different level.
Another favorite of mine is to serve a salad of fresh mozzarella layered with fresh basil and homemade tomatoes drizzled with olive oil. Yummy and oh so easy.
