What’s Your Next Foodie Buy?
Published by Coco Carmichael March 31st, 2007 in Breakfast/Brunch, Foodie Passions, Kitchen Appliances.Over the years, I’ve accumulated quite a few kitchen items. From my mother, I have a beautiful wooden bowl and carving board. From my mother-in-law, I have some vintage ceramic casserole dishes and lots of BIG mixing bowls.
But what I don’t have, and what I really want, is one of those melamine mixing bowls with a handle. Why? So it will be more fun to make homemade pancakes on the weekends. But…do I need anything more in my kitchen cupboards???

I desperately need a new coffee maker. I have a rather pedestrian Hamilton Beach coffee maker now but I’ve had it for awhile and it has plastic parts that get clogged and half the time it barely delivers a cup of joe and then when I go all day without a cup of coffee — I turn into a raging but lethargic woman.
I want something a bit more slick or sleek and maybe stainless steel but it cannot be too tall as I like to push it under the cabinet and it has to be easy to use and clean.
I am also considering an immersion blender but I haven’t bought one yet. I don’t like to have a lot of “stuff” because I don’t have a lot of space to put “stuff”.
