“Oh, Ralph, not the lemon!”

If you lived in the L.A. area around the 70’s, you might remember that Winchell Donuts commercial where some middle age guy (wearing an undershirt no less) was trying to sway his wife into eating donuts. She tried her best to resist but then he offered her a lemon jelly donut…she uttered those words…and the camera panned away.

Whenever I taste something deliciously lemony, that phrase always comes to mind.
