		<description>Speaking of cheesecakes, a Cheesecake Factory restaurant recently came to Dayton Ohio where I live.  It was several weeks before we could get in without a wait (yes we did have to go at an odd hour).  

Frankly we were disappointed.  The food was so ordinary.  No imagination.  Just the same old same old.  Obviously their clientele went there for the huge portions, the funky decor and the cheesecake desserts.

It's not that I had never been in a Cheesecake Factory before.  I used to travel for my job and my customers in Los Angeles and Chicago entertained me at their respective Cheesecake Factories. But I don't remember being disappointed then.  

Looking back, it was probably because I was:

1.  15 years younger with less refined tastes
2.  on an expense account and didn't have to pay for it
3.  wrapped up in the excitement of entertaining clients with alcohol flowing freely.

I like cheesecake as much as the next person, but I am satisfied with a bite or two -- any more is overindulgence.  I'd much rather have a dining experience with my main course, not my dessert.</description>
