Let’s face it – American’s love their sandwiches. Call them what you will – clubs, gyros, melts, muffalettas, wraps, or subs. I thought it interesting that Americans love of sandwiches created a market worth more than $121 billion in 2005, according to Sandwiches in the U.S.: Foodservice and Retail Market and Trends, the latest market research from Packaged Facts. As for me, I for one would love to visit Tiny’s Giant Sandwich Shop (lower east side of New York) which sounds like a happy misnomer – and partake of this one here. Thanks for sharing the crab cake sandwich, roboppy.
How about you? Have a favorite sandwich – or sandwich deli / shop you’d like to share?
