Sriracha is the condiment on every restaurant table. Sriracha is not as hot as a jalapeño. According to the Scoville scale, Sriracha only scores 1,000-2,200 points, where jalapeño peppers can range anywhere from 2,500-8,000 points.
Sriracha was originally made in Thailand but is now made in Irwindale (So Calif). The neighbors think it stinks and have filed a lawsuit and then the lawsuit was dropped but there’s still trouble in the air.
