May is National Burger Month. Who doesn’t love a good burger? The meat of the matter matters as long as it’s beef (marbled with fat for flavor and grilled to perfection), lamb, turkey or veggie.
Now for the most zealous of burger fans, Zinburger is hosting a contest where you have a chance at winning a $600 gift card to Zinburger. Feed the family. Feed your entire neighborhood, fraternity or little league. Just think of how popular you might become!
Just take and post a photograph of your #ZinfullMoment (using that hashtag) and you will be entered into the contest by tagging either the Zinburger Instagram page @EatZinburger or the Facebook page @ZinburgerAZ. And if you need more explanation or to see what other people have already posted, click here.
The trifecta of foodie BFFs went to Zinburger last night and supped on loaded fries (OMG!), burgers and a killer chocolate cream pie to share for dessert. While salads are on the menu, burgers called.
A bodacious platter of loaded fries was indeed loaded with Applewood smoked bacon, cheese sauce, sour cream and chives. This is like taking a good thing like fries and putting it on a mountain top with a view of the ocean.
Burgers are cooked just the way you like and you can have them with a bun or without, with cottage cheese or macaroni & cheese and everything in between. And if burgers are not your thing – try grilled chicken or ahi tuna between a bun.
I opted for the Blanco Burger which is a cross between two Fox Restaurant Concepts. I savored the tastes of guacamole, pico de gallo and chipotle mayo…flavors of Mexico mixed with the char of a burger…all gooey and satisfying. My friends ate the Kobe with sautéed wild mushroom and My Blue Boy with Maytag cheese and caramelized onions. No complaints whatever.
You can wash it all down with craft beers, a thoughtful wine selection, creative cocktails (watermelon mojito/goes down easy peasy) and sinful shakes.
There are two Zinburger locations in Tucson (River/Campbell and Grant/Wilmot) and more throughout Arizona.
