Tucson Real Fathers Day Eat Quiche

Father's Day dining Tucson
June 21

What dad doesn’t like a good meal and/or a classic crime thriller?

Lots of my favorite restaurants are open for Father’s Day. While not as crazy busy as Mother’s Day, I’m sure you can still get a reservation at Downtown Kitchen and Cocktails, Pastiche, Kingfisher for their Midwest road trip menu and The Parish.

Harvest Restaurant in Oro Valley offers these yummy brunch items as well as their regular menu:
–Braised BBQ brisket, with house baked beans & roasted fresh garlic Parmesan corn on the cob – $17.90
–Slow roasted prime rib with twice baked potato & seasonal fresh vegetables – $21.90
Real Man’s Quiche with braised short rib, horseradish havarti, oven dried tomatoes, caramelized onion & home fries – $9.90

Plus all day Happy Hour – I’ll drink to that. Harvest Restaurant is located at 10355 North La Canada Drive Oro Valley, Arizona 85737

Harvest recently announced a second location coming soon in the former Skybox location on River/Craycroft.

RA Sushi in La Encantada has all day happy hour.

At Beyond Bread, get Dad a Brew Bundle which includes a growler with coupon to fill with Dad’s choice of craft beer or cold brew coffee. Also contains spicy glazed almonds, salted and sugared peanuts, cheesy popcorn, hard pretzel sticks, Dijon mustard, and Beyond Bread Kettle Chips! The beer is only available at the Campbell location. Supplies are limited!

At everyone’s favorite independent movie house, the Loft Cinema features a special Father’s Day screening of Bullitt with the forever-cool Steve McQueen in the hard-hitting car chase crime classic. Enter the FREE RAFFLE for a fantastic Hollywood Tough Guy Prize Package, featuring movies, music, books and more. And belly up to the snack bar for a tasty Bullitt Screwdriver that will really get your motor running on Sunday, June 21 at noon.

broken leg greyhounds from Tucson dog track
Morris says: Honor thy father

Honor your father by naming a retired racing greyhound after him. With only a $25 donation, you can help Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption which transitions retired race dogs from the local track. Many of these dogs suffer broken legs, broken hocks, and other serious injuries. SA Greys will send your father a card or email in appreciation.  This poor dog broke his leg in three places; I named him after my father Morris who loved dogs.
