Get your chops ready for some New England style fare such as Little Neck Clam Cakes, C Dogs (breaded and flash-fried lobster tails with lemon-Sriracha aioli and Clam Chowda with bacon lardon and seasoned soda crackers.

(Comment: Mouth watering right about now)

There’s more: Lobster Roll, Crab Cake BLT, Narragansett Stew and pork ribs, burgers, chicken wings and then some.

Eight cocktails will dominate the tavern’s beverage menu with the house cocktail – White Wedding. You will just have to try it plus a boutique selection of beer and wine.

“You might say that I’ve been waiting all my life to open Jackson Tavern and we’re so excited to be intruding a little bit of New England to our community,” said Brian Metzger. “This menu means so much to me, as a living symbol of my family’s New England roots.”

Jackson Tavern is named after Brian’s son, Jack, (think JaxKitchen) and follows in the footsteps of naming his restaurants after family members – Gio Taco and Poppy Kitchen.
