What are you doing Sunday, September 1, beginning at 1 p.m.? Consider heading south to Willcox, Kansas Settlement area for a day of wine, music, food, and art.
Admission is $25/pp and includes a complimentary custom Pillsbury outdoor wine glass; plenty of food – tacos, salsa, side dishes; live music by Nowhere Man & A Whiskey Girl, art, and good company.
Bring your own folding chairs or blankets (or use their chairs) to enjoy the day’s activities if you like. The festival which celebrates Pillsbury’s bountiful grape harvest, will take place on the 100-acre vineyard/farm situated in the Kansas Settlement area surrounding the Willcox tasting room.
Enjoy $5 glasses of wine or purchase the bottle.
Patrons are encouraged to set up camp (camping vehicles, tents, or hammocks) and spend the night (a nominal additional fee per campsite will be charged). Arrive early to claim the perfect spot for appreciating the breath-taking sunset and a night-filled starry sky. A surprise breakfast for campers is in the works.
Inside the tasting room, enjoy a private art show featuring the works of Asher Pillsbury and Reuben Pillsbury, sons of Sam—hosted by Thomas and Kim Johnson of TRUST Art & Design.
