Have you ever wondered what it was like to harvest dessert foods like prickly pear and barrel cactus fruits without a bloody finger mess? Fear not, as the knowledgeable chefs at Loews Ventana Resort will demonstrate as well as give you a hand-on experience.  And about those mesquite pods???


Here’s the schedule:


June 21 – 2 pm – Learn how to make a specialty dessert using barrel cactus fruit


July 5 – 2 pm – Harvest mesquite pods and make some yummy appetizers with mesquite flour
