Tucson: Breaking Bread at new Whole Foods Market

Oh the lightingoh the lighting

The new Whole Foods Market opens Wednesday January 16 on the northeast corner of Craycroft & River.

Doors open at 9 a.m.  Store management will have a bread breaking ceremony, sharing bread and a welcome to the store and symbolizing the store’s entry into the community. Also, the first 100 guests will receive a free demi baguette.

Later in the day, the Basis Tucson North student band will play for the crowd from 3:30 4 pm.

And if you have to wait outside, there will be heaters to keep you warm.

Last night I was able to preview the new Foothills store so you can read about it here — the store is really like no other store in Tucson yet. Oh, the lighting!
