Happy Easter. Tucson is a last-minute town for reservations so check out these fabulous home town favorites.

Downtown Kitchen & Cocktails
Seating from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call for reservations – 623-7700
Check out the menu – 3 course pre fixe menu for both adults & children. $35/$17.95. Green eggs with ham, anyone?

Loews Canyon Café
Sumptuous holiday brunch will include a made-to-order omelet station, breakfast pastries, waffles and pancakes, a carved ice seafood station, a kids’ station, dessert and more for $56 per person. Reservations at 615-5496 or book online here.

Kingfisher and Bluefin will have specials in addition to their regular menus.
Both restaurants will serve: Roasted and Carved Leg of Lamb with Dried Cherries and Mint, Horseradish Mashed Potatoes, Sauteed Spinach. $18.50. Also serving Fresh Alaskan Halibut Cheeks upon availability.

Kingfisher will serve dinner from 5-10pm – 323-7739

Bluefin will be serving brunch from 11-3pm and dinner from 5-9pm – 531-8500

Acacia will serve an Easter Brunch buffet complete with a selection of quick breads and pastries, salads, seafood and crepes.  You can also choose your favorite ingredients at the omelet bar. Chad’s will be offering an optional Easter buffet from 11am – 7pm. Buffet items include: Prime Rib, Mac n Cheese, Green Bean Casserole and fruit. Cost is $22.95 for adults and $12.95 for kids (not including tax and gratuity). The regular menu will also be available.

Dakota Café will be serving a traditional brunch with special homemade desserts as well as lunch. Open from 10am -3pm. Prices range from $19-$24. Reservations are recommended.

Lodge on the Desert will be serving a lavish brunch buffet in the Lodge restaurant and on the patio.  The menu will include assorted baked goods, salads and cheeses, a prime rib carving station and a seafood buffet.  Complimentary Mimosa is as well as special pricing on Bloody Mary’s. Cost is $49/person, $29/children aged 6-14, children under 5 are complimentary (tax and gratuity not included). Brunch is served from 10am-2pm. Reservations recommended.

The Parish

The Parish will be open from 11am-midnight, serving their regular menu along with a variety of specials. Prices range from $9-$18. Specials include: Easter basket rabbit – oven roast side of rabbit in crispy basket with wild mushroom demi glace’ with tart apple and celery root pure laced with white truffle oil; Parish prime – dry aged, grilled prime rib with caramelized cipollini onion jus with fresh horse radish chips, roast fingerling potatoes, bacon and sautéed green beans;
Duck and Eggs – crispy duck confit with spicy lemon hollandaise, poached egg and ruby red grapefruit vinaigrette tossed water watercress over sautéed shitake mushrooms

The Tea Room will offer an Easter Brunch complete with an assortment of breads, eggs benedict, bread pudding French toast, macaroni and cheese with honey baked ham, chicken, lamb, mahi mahi and deserts among many other choices.  Brunch served from 8am-4pm.  Adults $28.95, children 10 and under $14.95 and under 5 complimentary (gratuity and tax not included).
