Slow Food  Prescott  is visiting the Orme Ranch in Mayer, Arizona on Saturday, March 31. They’re a family-owned business, ranching and farming on the same land since 1929 in Yavapai County, Arizona. Orme believes in, and practices, holistic and sustainable management. They use “low stress” handling practices for their cattle and process them at a local family business.

Orme says “We strive, in all we do, to observe and respond to nature’s processes. Our cattle graze native forage on our private land, our Prescott National Forest grazing allotment and our Arizona State Land Grazing lease.”
