Chef Donna Nordin presents a very special lunch & learn class featuring award winning cookbook author and teacher, Joyce Jue.  Ms. Jue is here to participate under the culinary banner at the Tucson Festival of Books on March 10-11.

Each 2.5 hour demonstration class will include three recipes as well as lunch with wine/beverages. Class starts at 10:30 a.m. on either Wednesday, March 7 or Friday, March 9.

Following the class, Joyce will lead a tour of Lee Lee Market for those interested in learning more about Asian produce and other ingredients.

I love that idea. When I go to Lee Lee Market and walk up and down the aisles I always feel like I need a culinary tour guide.

Lee Lee Market is located on the northeast corner of Orange Grove & La Cholla. Participants in the class will need to provide their own transportation.

Each class is limited to 10 students. The cost is $85/pp, payment is required to reserve your spot. For more info, call 299-8100.

Here’s the menu:

Thai Gaeng Liang Tong
Kabocha Coconut Milk Soup

Vietnamese Bo La Lot
Grilled Beef Rolled in Shiso Leaves

Chinese Mu Shu Pork with Mandarin Pancakes
