Tucson: CLASSIC COCKTAIL TECHNIQUES
Cocktails. These days bartenders are called mixologists. We can think of them as chefs of the bar. A new generation of mixologists have created a new genre of cocktails using house-made infusions & syrups, shrubs, herbs, and a glossary worth learning. In my humble opinion — for a really good cocktail, you can taste the layering of ingredients almost like wine from start to the finish…different taste senses in my mouth. And they’re all good…unforgettable.

Join Property Mixologist Aaron DeFeo, along with guests from the United States Bartenders’ Guild for an exciting afternoon of classic cocktails! Attendees will discover the historic origins of some of the world’s most beloved cocktails, along with how to make them using only the best ingredients. This event is open to the public, as well as industry.

–Shrubs – History & Demonstrations, along with tasting
–Stirred Cocktails – History & Demonstrations, along with tasting
–Sours – History & Demonstrations & along with tasting
Attendees will receive their very own bar tool at the beginning of each class. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn shaking and stirring techniques, along with measuring techniques. This will be the first in a series of six cocktail classes for the year. Upon completing all six classes, attendees will receive a certificate of distinction, and will have a complete set of home bar tools.
