Get ready as Janos Cooking School is launching its new semester. School is back in session starting Saturday, January 21, 2012, followed by three more classes on February 11, March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day), and April 28.
This semester of cooking classes will kick off with Traditional Mexican Cooking For Today. Janos will be demonstrating the preparation of: Street Vendors Corn, Yucatan Cochinita Pibil, Lamb Barbacoa and Mushroom Chilaquiles. The demonstration will be followed with a tasting of all the dishes. (Yum!)
Janos Cooking School is informative, fun, entertaining and a great way to get to know Janos Wilder and learn some of his recipes and cooking tips. Each class lasts about 2.5 hours and begins promptly at 1 p.m. Each class consists of discussion, cooking demonstration, beverage pairing and a tasting of the items that have been demonstrated. Students will receive recipes for all the dishes that are demonstrated.
