I recently downloaded another great application on my droid. It wasn’t hard to find because it was one of the top rated applications, so I just decided to download it for free and see what it was like. After downloading the app, I now understand why it is one of the top free health and fitness apps…it is really cool and useful.
What this application basically does is track everything you eat. When you first sign up for the free account, you put in your height, weight and age. It then asks you if you are looking to maintain your weight, lose weight or gain weight. Based on all the criteria mentioned, it then calculates a daily calorie amount for you to stay on track.
Every day when you log in, it shows you the same daily calorie amount and then the fun begins. You can start putting in what you eat throughout the day under breakfast, lunch, dinner and even snacks. It adds up your calories, fat, fiber, vitamins, carbs, sugars, etc.
This tool is a great tool for me because it keeps me on track to staying healthy. I know what I can and cannot eat and if I choose to eat something with more calories than a normal dinner, I can go into the program and calculate how it will affect the rest of my day.
With this application, it is very easy to search for food items nutrition and literally has a never ending database. On top of this, the program makes it easy by saving your top searches and favorites so if you are eating the same thing for breakfast every day, you don’t have to re look it up every time.
If you have a smart phone and are interested in staying healthy, I would highly recommend you downloading this application. It makes things so much easier!
