Last week, I was in West Palm Beach for Spring Break. It was a great trip and a lot of fun. I had never been there before, so I was excited to travel around and I was lucky enough to do a lot while on vacation. One of the days we were there, we went to Downtown at the Gardens in Palm Beach. This is a very upscale shopping center with great shops and great food. While we were there, we tried the restaurant and bar Cabo Flats, a Mexican inspired restaurant.

This restaurant was a great experience and next time I go back to West Palm Beach, I will definitely return there. First of all, the atmosphere was great. They not only offered a great experience inside with the restaurant and bar area, but also tables outside on their patio with nicer furniture for sitting. On top of the great experience, we went there on a Sunday night. The special for that evening was service night. If you worked in the service industry you would receive 50% off your entire bill. To start, this restaurant was not over priced at all, but with the discount it was just really inexpensive (which of course made me happy).  Since my friends I was traveling with both worked at restaurants, we were all given the discount and it made for a great night.

One is started to get past the dinner crowd, they brought out a dj and had dancing in the restaurant as well for more of a night club and bar atmosphere. It really was a great experience and I would recommend this place to anyone!

If you end up making it down there, make sure to check out the specials before you go because they have great specials all nights of the week!
