Tucson restaurant news: Sauce gives back, saki maki Mondays, dance & dessert

Sauce gives back
Feb. 22, Sauce is donating 20 percent of all food sales to the victims and their families of the Tucson tragedy. Eat at any of the three sauce locations from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. In Tucson, Sauce is located at 5285 E. Broadway, 7117 N. Oracle (across the street from the Safeway scene of the shooting) and 2990 N. Campbell Ave.

Sake Maki Mondays at RA Sushi

Every Monday, enjoy two sake selections and two sushi rolls for $20; this is a significant savings from the a la carte menu prices. A word about the sake — reach for the “stars.” Choose two sakes from a variety of dry and sweet sakes, or select red or white Sake Sangria. Featured sakes on the special menu include five ounce servings of Kizakura “Pure” sake, Sho Chiku Bai Nigori “Crème de Sake,” and Kizakura “Pure” Stars sake. The Stars sake tastes like champagne. RA Sushi is located at La Encantada: 2905 E. Skyline Drive in the foothills.
