Roommate Dinner

My roommates and I are VERY VERY busy, so it is hard to get time to spend together. But last weekend, we all had free time and decided to make a great dinner!

We decided to make a shrimp pasta with salad and garlic bread. We first made a list of everything we needed, then split up the groceries and came back to prepare for dinner. Since I was the only one who knew how to cook the shrimp, my other roommates decided to help with everything else.

We ended up getting everything cooked in 15 or 20 minutes and it was a lot of fun! The shrimp pasta was made with olive oil, tomatoes, garlic, parm cheese and spices. It was so delicious!! Besides the pasta, we made a simple salad with veggies and had store bought garlic bread.

I was going to make homemade garlic bread, but my roommates wanted the store bought item.

This was a great bonding experience for all of us and I tradition I would like to try and continue in the future!

Hopefully the next dinner will be even nicer and fancier because I never get a chance anymore to show off my cooking skills and enjoy them for myself!!!
