We are almost at the end of 2010! This year has flown by for me, but I am very excited to start the new year off right!

I only have one year left in college…

I am now the president of my sorority…

I am very excited for what’s in store for me in the future!

But before 2011, I have my new years eve celebrations of course.

Tomorrow, I start during the day at my boyfriend’s house. Every year, his family does an appetizer meal while watching The Twilight Zone New Years Eve Special. The appetizers consist of cheese, crackers, shrimp, sausage, chips, dip and veggies. It is very laid back and fun to just sit around and relax.

After I spend a few hours there, I am going out to dinner with my friend Amanda’s family. They decided to go to Olive Garden this year, so it should be a nice treat.

After dinner, my friend Amanda and I are getting our party dresses on and going out to celebrate the new year. My new years eve should be a fun filled day!

Compared to my friends, my new years eve is very low key. One of my best friends, Kristen, is going to New York City to see the ball drop and go out to celebrate! Another one of my friends, Laura, is going to downtown Athens with a bunch of friends to celebrate.

This year, my parents are having a small dinner party with their friends to celebrate the new year. It will be filled with lots of appetizers and wine.

A lot of my friends go out on new years, but all do slightly different things. What are your plans for New Years Eve?

Again, Happy New Year!!!

Thanks for all your hard work in 2010 for Circle of Food.

You sound very busy and very motivated and I hope you will still have time to post here.

My New Years Eve was low key but I had a wonderful New Years Day dinner which I will blog about soon.

When I was young — in my 20s — I went to NYC to watch the ball drop. All I remember was how cold it was.
