Urban Farm Fare Coming to University Blvd.
Chef Ramiro Scavo will open first restaurant concept

Tucson, AZ — Chef Ramiro Scavo is slated to open his first restaurant –Pasco Kitchen & Lounge – in late January 2011.  Scavo was formerly a chef with Fox Restaurant Concepts, before moving on to be a part of MaRKet Restaurant Group (Harvest, Zona 78 and The Grill at Hacienda del Sol).

Pasco’s menu will feature urban farm fare – traditional comfort food and drinks, approached with modern techniques and with an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Pasco Kitchen & Lounge will be a destination for local foodies and students alike, offering options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night.

The interior look and design is in the artful hands of FORS architecture and Ventura Pacific Development (DOWNTOWN kitchen & cocktails, Tavolino and The Abbey).

Pasco Kitchen & Lounge is located at 820 E. University Blvd. More details and website coming soon…

(Blogger note: Hmmm, Pasco Kitchen & Lounge is similar to DOWNTOWN Kitchen & Cocktails which is similar to Maynards Market & Kitchen. The word Kitchen could be the new word for restaurant.

  1. Nice to see Drew Record a part of this venture. Always wondered what happened to one of my favorite, and most creative, UHS students. = – )
