The largest ever egg recall, then this from the FDA: “Failure to take prompt corrective action may result in regulatory action being initiated by the FDA without further notice.” Are they serious? A warning letter is all you get for spreading disease across the nation?
No wonder the recalls keep rolling in: yesterday it was salmonella-infected pork and bacteria-laced celery that’s led to four deaths; today they found salmonella in cantaloupes.
The industrialized food system is broke, and we need to fix it. If you’re incensed whenever people get away with this sort of thing, there is something you can do about it: join the fastest growing food movement dedicated to making food good, clean and fair today.
