Great Lakes Brewery is a nice restaurant and brewery located in Downtown Cleveland. This restaurant is located on an artsy part of the city near the West Side Market and shops. This brewery brews all sorts of beers. Some of the more populars ones include Dortmonder Gold and Eliet Ness. All their beers can be found in major grocery stores.
Besides having a wonderful restaurant, pub, and bar, they have a brewery onsite to tour. When I went with my family, we however did not tour it due to time but I have before.
The restaurant has a nice outdoor patio where we were seated. My brother and dad got sandwiches (huge portions) and my uncle got a cob salad, but what was truly amazing was the pretzel chicken my aunt and I got. This homemade pretzel crusted chicken with a mustard beer sauce was wonderful. It was also a big portion and came with the vegetable of the day and mashed potatoes. For a nicer restaurant, the average price of $10 to $15 isn’t too bad.
Even if you aren’t hungry, you could go in for an appetizer and a beer sampler to try all there new brews. This restaurant is fun for the whole family and I really enjoyed the treat while visiting my aunt and uncle for the evening.
