Summer is here. The July 4th BBQ is right around the corner. What can you do to stun your friends and family by making this holiday or any day beyond memorable?

While people with less imagination will be putting shrimp on the barbee and grilling a few hot dogs and hamburgers, think outside the bun.

How about Bacon Cheese Turtle Burgers and Butterbeer?

Admittedly, the bacon cheese burgers are not for the faint of heart or for people with high cholesterol. Actually, they are kind of gross, but hey, they are memorable because these are just not any bacon cheese burgers, they are bacon cheese turtle burgers.

(serves 4) With a pound of ground beef, handmake ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese, then wrap in a bacon weave.  For the next step, add hotdogs as the heads, legs, and tail and make a cross cut into the legs so they split when cooking. Place on an oven rack, covered loosely with foil and baked for 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees.  Conversely, you can do this on a grill.

Of course, you will want to wash it down with an equally memorable beverage. For the kids, I suggest butterbeer and for the adults, I suggest butterbeer with alcoholic enhancement.

Then you might want to create a magic potent to make your cholesterol and blood sugar go back to normal.
