Coming soon: Nimbus Ice House
Nimbus goes west. To be more specific, Nimbus goes to 95 W. River Road which is across the street from Zona 98 at 98 W. River. Nimbus will take over the former My Big Fat Greek Restaurant space and plans to be open in eight to ten weeks.

More Nimbus news: For Father’s Day, Nimbus Bistro is serving a $12.95 steak dinner. While Nimbus is known for its beer, wine is also on the menu. On Father’s Day treat dad or mom or yourself to a $20 glass of Silver Oak Cellars cabernet sauvignon wine. Yes, $20!

Silver Oak Cellars is in Alexander Valley. I remember driving through there during a happenstance journey from Oakland to Arcata, Calif. to pick up my friend’s brother’s remains. Northern Calif. is just so beautiful.

Kudos to Nimbus, a local company expanding across Tucson. I love success stories like this especially in the hospitality industry.

  1. I understand that the Nimbus restaurant on River is not open yet but how do I apply for the current positions that are available? I have been waitressing for Ihop on Oracle for 4 1/2 years and I am 19 years old. Will my age prevent me from applying at your restaurant since you serve alcohol?

    Thank you!

  2. Alexis,
Kudos to you for being a responsible waitress.
I only report the restaurant openings and closings. Circle of Food knows nothing about Nimbus’ hiring practices. You will have to contact the restaurant. They currently have two other locations, call.
