Author’s note: Since Circle Of Food has a national audience, I suggest that you not focus on the local aspect of this wine bar post but more so on the “concept” and “lifestyle” aspect of it. Find something similar in your neck of the woods.
Here is my LAFF group at our recent event at Cuvee Wine Bar. That’s me, Mary Johnson, in the first row, second from the right. Have you started your own LAFF group yet? Hopefully, by my sharing our activities, you’ll get ideas on how to get together with your friends in a relaxed way that doesn’t add much stress to your life.
This month, Barb, one of our LAFF members took on the task of arranging a catered event at a local wine bar called Cuvee in Bellbrook, Ohio. We each paid $15 which gave us exclusive use of their wine bar after hours (6:30 – 9:00) along with some fabulous heavy hor dourves. Our drinks were separate and we were waited on hand-and-foot by “Debbie” who was knowledgable about the wine.
The food was exceptional – beautifully presented, complex flavors, sophisticated ingredients, and delicious. Enjoy these photos of the food and fun. Cuvee also prepares full dinners and I know that Nancy Farkas, a Coldwell Banker realtor in our group, is planning something with them for a future gathering for us. We had a great time and best of all — there were no dishes to wash at the end.
