Black Friday is one of the craziest shopping days of the year. Each year, stores compete with low prices to entice customers to come. This year, I woke up, along with other crazy people at 3 am, to get ready for stores that opened at 3 am, 4 am, and 5 am. After waiting in line for 2 hours to check out at Old Navy, I got to Target 20 minutes after they opened at 5 am. Basically, I woke up early and went to Target to get cheap kitchen appliances. They had great small appliances for college or apartments for $3. They had a coffeemaker, crock-pot, toaster, and sandwich maker for only $3. Sadly though, they were all GONE after only 20 minutes and I did not get anything for my kitchen. I then went to Wal-Mart to look at their $4 kitchen appliances, and again, they were gone within the hour.
I understand each store can only have so many of each item, but I guess that means people were going crazy over these cheap appliances.
Maybe next year I will have to get up even earlier to get ready to buy my appliances.
