Coming Soon: Uptown Bistro which will occupy the former Monkey Bar space anticipates opening this month. Another downtown eatery is on the precipice of opening — A Steak in the Neighborhood. And Burger City which used to be downtown and that location will be open for special events only, has another location opening very soon at Williams Centre.
Frost, a Gelato Shoppe
This weekend (Sat/Nov 14 & Sun/Nov 15) Frost celebrates its second anniversary across from Udall Park and its first anniversary at La Encantada. Time flies when you’re eating delicious gelato. All three Frosts offer a celebratory special — anyone who spends $10 or more will receive a certificate for a complimentary small gelato the next time they visit. Frost is located at 7131 N. Wine as Art
Come to CataVinos Wine Shoppe this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Nov 12,13, and 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. for a tasting of
blends, blends, and more blends. A well-blended wine is as fine as any piece of art ever created or so says Yvonne Foucher, CataVinos owner. The shoppe’s selection of blends has grown dramatically. These wines compliment the wonderful art that is on display. Wine tasting costs $10 for six tastes + nibbles, $8 if you buy a bottle of wine.
Maynards & Mutts
If you work downtown, you probably eat lunch downtown.
