Hamburger anyone? E.coli may be an option

This is a grizzly story about how one young woman’s bout with e.coli left her paralyzed from the waist down from eating a hamburger.

You really need a strong stomach to read this New York Times article.

What was labeled, ““American Chef’s Selection Angus Beef Patties” is really a combination of slaughterhouse trimmings and scraps from three different states and one South American country.

After reading this article, a veggie burger sounds really good.

If you haven’t seen the Food Inc., the movie yet…it’s probably on DVD by now. The movie is really a “must see”
