Tucson Culinary Festival – October 1-4
Support the Tucson Originals efforts for four days of fabulous food and wine events starting with the margarita championship on Thursday October 1 at Maynards Market courtyard. Sample nine margaritas and vote for your favorite while nibbling on munchies and enjoying live music. Friday October 2 features the Reserve Tasting for those of you with exclusive uptown food and wine tastes. Saturday October 3 is the Grande Tasting for people who like to experience all the restaurants and more wine. Then on Sunday October 4, it’s brunch at Loews Ventana Resort and the Copper Chef Challenge, sort of like the Iron Chef but Jim Murphy of Kingfisher and Jeff Fuld of Elle face off with some mystery ingredients while the brunch diners eat and watch. It all happens for a good cause and to celebrate Tucson’s independent restaurants. Check it out and buy your tickets online.
