 Prickly Pear Festival Fundraiser

Admission costs $5/person; children under 11 are free. Admission includes a free soda, margarita, or beer…for adults of course. Gelato Magician
Wonder what Frost Gelato is up to? They have the gelato magician performing at Frost at La Encantada Shopping Center on Friday August 28 from 5 to 9 p.m (2905 Skyline Drive); Frost at Casas Adobes Plaza on Saturday August 29 from 3 to 8 p.m. (7131 N. Oracle Rd 85704); and Frost at Tanque Verde Place on  Sunday August 30 from 3 to 8 p.m. (7301 E. Tanque Verde across from Udall Park). I like to think that I’m a gelato magician because I eat it and it disappears.

Coming Soon: Wine tasting will be coming soon to Trader Joe’s locations.

  1. Love to sit at RumRunner bar, with a glass of wine and a free-range chicken dish, watching or chatting with other diners. Was in the old place and now enjoy the new location. This is a great local restaurant, and I wish it much success.

  2. Here’s a note from the organizers of Server Olympics:

    Hi Karyn,

Thank you for running the “Server Olympics” event information on your blogs last week!

We had a great turnout, despite the huge storm that interrupted the event for a little while. We collected 1,288 pounds of food for Community Food Bank, which translates to more than 1,000 meals. We also collected $654 in monetary donations, which will allow the food bank to distribute $5,886 worth of food to Tucson’s hungry.

Thanks again for your continued support,

    Lindsay
