This is aptly called anatomy of a heart attack. Taco with melted Velveeta cheese, corn dog, and fried chicken tenders…oh boy. Eat the salad first.

  1. Is it no wonder our kids are gaining weight! We just got back from going to The Great Darke County Fair in Greeneville Ohio yesterday and I had my first corn dog in several years. I put corn dogs in the category of “fair food” that you eat only on special occasions. Frankly, it was one of the “healthier” choices at the fair, when compared to fried twinkies and fried oreos.

I remember going through the cafeteria lines in my youth (the 60’s) and everyone ate the same thing – all meals had some kind of vegetable. They weren’t necessarily low-fat, though. I remember my favorite school lunch was chili, cheese sticks, peanut butter and white bread and carrot/celery sticks (all in the same meal).
