Tucson restaurant news – downtown
What today looks like a large dusty lot just outside the north entrance to Hotel Congress will soon be transformed into a beautiful tree lined plaza that will more than triple the outdoor seating area that now exists at the 100 year old landmark hotel.
Completion is scheduled to coincide with the ribbon cutting at the re-opening of the 4th Avenue underpass on August 20 – this should be an exciting event!
The ambiance of a delightful Parisian plaza, with brick- on- sand pavers and lots of trees provides shaded areas where the public can meet, eat, drink and enjoy the urban experience. The area includes the Hotel, Cup Café, Club Congress, and Maynards Market and Kitchen.
