Kingfisher East Coast Road Trip
Starting on Friday, July 24, the Kingfisher culinary road trip tour will introduce a new two-week menu featuring an array of appetizers, entrées, and desserts emphasizing the East Coast. The new menu highlights many of the savory flavors from back East. Each tour features four appetizers, four entrées, and two desserts and are available in addition to regular menu specialties.

As expected, seafood dictates much of the menu, with appetizers such as Smoked Bluefish Pâté, with croutons, strawberries and Vermont cheddar and Baked Quahogs. The quahogs – large, hard-shelled clams of Atlantic origin – are baked and stuffed with pancetta, onions, scallions, peppers, garlic, and breadcrumbs ($12 each). For an entrée, try the Soft Shell Crabs, deep fried and served with house made tartar sauce, sweet potato fries and coleslaw ($20). As part of every Road Trip menu throughout the summer, a Tucson Originals Summer Dining Special is included. A Boiled Maine Lobster, served with Texmati rice, vegetable compote and – of course – melted butter, is available for the Originals’ entrée price of $20.09.
