Where Local and Global Appetites Collide

New York City: Food on the Run

This sounds like a fun event in NYC.

On June 27, City Running Tours is introducing bRUNch: a five mile running tour, lead by the guides at City Running Tours.

The guides will take runners through some of Manhattan’s more unique landmarks and sights before dropping them off at STAND  for a taste of the restaurant’s newly launched brunch menu.

bRUNch combines the love of running with the love of food (good food, not just the apples and bagels you get after a race) to create a truly distinctive social event.  They hope it will be an event that brings together New Yorkers as well as tourists to give a different perspective on various parts of the city, and then afford runners the chance to dine at one of the city’s exceptional eateries.
