Another example of Tucson restaurant altruism:
Beginning May 1, 2009, Pastiche Modern Eatery, 3025 N. Campbell Ave. will feature chicken soup to benefit the Community Food Bank.
Pastiche chicken soup not only nourishes the body, but warms the heart. For every bowl of chicken soup purchased, Pastiche will donate $2 to the Community Food Bank. $1 will be donated to the food bank for every cup of soup purchased. Chicken soup will be featured on the Pastiche menu year around.
The $2 donation for a bowl of soup by Pastiche will allow the Community Food Bank to distribute $18 of food. “The Community Food Bank is excited about the chicken soup promotion sponsored by Pastiche,” said Bill Carnegie, President/CEO. “If there was ever a time we needed a little chicken soup for Tucson’s soul, this is it.”?
