Pizza from a Vending Machine

Some half baked entrepreneur is putting out a vending machine that makes pizza in 2.5 minutes. 

Sold or not sold?

Supposedly, pizza joints are up in arms but should they be worried?

I think not. First of all, have you ever tasted those creepy sandwiches in a vending machine? They are the last resort because there’s nothing else to eat on the planet. Even those fancy-schmancy coffee machines seen in business settings (my Saturn dealer) are inferior to a good cup of drip coffee.

I predict there will be a limited audience for the pizza vending machine and the great pizza makers of Italy have nothing to worry about.

Also, these vending machines will be difficult to maintain and fix (and they always break down). These pizza making vending machines may draw the curious once and the people with bland palates twice, but after that people will go back to either fast food or the real thing.

  1. I agree. It sounds like it could be a good idea, but looking at the coffee machines, they rarely work or have problems. One time I got a hot chocolate from the machine and it only filled it up with a couple drops of water, and the rest was syrup. It was so gross…
