Valentine’s Day was yesterday, and the two most common presents for this holiday are flowers, and chocolate. Yes, it is just another Hallmark Holiday, but it is still about the chocolate. When I think of Valentine’s Day, I think of eating too much chocolate, even though I do not like it very much, and then feeling bad about myself after. But after looking on a package of a little box of chocolates I got for my boyfriend, I realized in small quantities, it is really not that bad.
This little box of chocolates was yes, only 5 pieces, but it was only 11 grams of fat and 300 calories. Yes, I do realize this is a lot, but at the same time, almost all other desserts are just as bad, if not worse. This box eaten at once can be someones regret, but only a couple pieces and chocolate is really not that bad.
So what I learned is that it’s okay to enjoy the chocolate. We all do, just do it with moderation!!
