Where Local and Global Appetites Collide

Noshing Around: Tucson, V-Bar and J-Bar

Vila from Vila Thai is opening V-BAR at 1118 E. 6th Street, or what was formerly Belushe’s Bar & Grill.

With a talented woman’s touch, V-BAR will be painted red all over and serve food at recession prices. Look for Sunday brunch for $7 and $3 tapas during the early and late happy hours plus Monday night wine tasting.

It’s a bold move to open a restaurant during these economically depressed times.

Stay tuned for more news as the opening date gets closer.

Speaking of recession prices, J-BAR now offers some sizzling weekly deals that are usually only seen during summer months.
