Teenagers everywhere play video games on the weekends and for fun, but how is that healthy? They sit and stare at a tv. Videogame inventors have been coming up with new options to try and make videogames more fit and to get children up. One of the earlier games was DDR. DDR is a dance game that got the kids off the couch and onto the mat dancing to their favorite songs. After DDR, other options for videogames came out.
Now, one of the newest “workout” videogames is Wii Fit. Wii Fit is a game designed for the wii and is a body board for working out. It combines yoga, balance, strength and aerobics while making it fun for kids to work out. Despite having never tried the product, I think this is a very smart game to get kids to do more than sit for hours in front of the tv.
