Hot Peppers from Mexico Caused the Salmonella Outbreak

According to an Associated Press article, there were many problems with hot peppers coming from Mexico. Thousands of pounds were turned away at the border but for some reason the peppers were not considered problematic by the FDA during the initial salmonella saintpaul food poisoning outbreak.
