Chocolate beer you say? Maybe it’s a marketing scheme to attract women who love chocolate to drink more beer or perhaps just to think outside the keg.
As demand for crafted beers grows, the Miller Brewing Co. is launching a limited holiday edition chocolate lager in parts of the Midwest — Wisconsin, Indiana, Chicago, Cleveland, and Minneapolis.
The beer will be sold in 4-packs of 12 oz bottles and promoted for holiday parties and gift giving. Since people associate holidays with indulging, there’s no better time for the chocolate lager to debut. We have dessert wines; why not dessert beers?
